​With a 30+ year work history that found him working as an executive on “the bleeding edge” in the fields of video games, home computers, computer-based music/multimedia, TV animation and music TV/Web programming development and production, Mike Goldstein launched into a new phase of his career in 2006 as the owner/curator of RockPoP Gallery (New York and Portland, OR), which (until he sold the business in 2012) showcased fine art prints produced by many of the best designers, illustrators and photographers from all areas of the recorded music industry. Mike is also the founder of the Album Cover Hall of Fame; a website for fans of album cover art, graphic design and photography who would like to know more about the talented people and agencies who created their favorite covers. Since its inception in 2010, the website has been committed to offering its visitors a comprehensive and regularly-updated collection of album cover art/artist-related news, interviews, biographies, portfolio reviews and more. Goldstein is a sought-after researcher/writer and lecturer on album cover design whose interviews and articles can be found in and on several popular music/design publications and web sites.
