Jonathon Kimbrell is owner and artist for Napkin Art Studio, based in Dallas, TX. He has designed album artwork for artists Johnny Cash, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Memphis Slim, Alice Cooper, and The Polyphonic Spree, to name a few, and has jhad the pleasure of working on special Sun Records releases for ORG Music. Additionally, Kimbrell designs and produces merchandise and ephemera for various recording artists and labels, and is the recipient of the Making Vinyl 2017 Alex Award for “Best 45rpm Packaging: Alice Cooper – Live From The Astroturf.” If that weren’t a full plate enough, Kimbrell is currently working on his Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Texas A&M-Commerce, to be completed in Summer 2021.
