​Greg Reierson is the owner of Rare Form Mastering in Minneapolis, MN. He has spent the past 35 years working in the audio industry with a primary focus on mastering since 1989. In that time he’s mastered more than 6,500 commercially released CDs, LPs and digital releases for a diverse group of local, national and international artists including Prince, The Cure, Dan Wilson, Sufjan Stevens, All-American Rejects, Motley Crue, All Time Low, Keb’ Mo’, Cyril Neville, Jonathan Richman, Guided By Voices, The Marshall Tucker Band, Tommy James, Norbert Leo Butz and many others.

In the studio, Greg surrounds himself with a carefully assembled collection of old and new – from his vintage Neumann VMS 70 record lathe and assortment of analog tape decks to everything the modern digital world has to offer. Greg has designed, built or modified much of the equipment used at RFM and spends time between sessions working on various electronics projects and satisfying his curiosities about music, sound, audio perception, acoustics and audio technology.
